Week 1 A Dream & A Goal

The training program starts with helping leaders dream out loud on their professional careers. Using a step by step approach inspired by Intentional Change Theory, leaders will start articulating a powerful vision for their work lives, their biggest career challenges and put it towards crafting short-term professional goals. 

Goal: Help attendees get clarity & excitement about working towards their dream careers.

Week 2 The Viral Leadership Brand

This workshop helps leaders further unpack their motivations, strengths and personality. Leaders will learn the fundamentals of a powerful personal brand. Next, they will reflect on their careers to identify the problems they love solving, the skills that come naturally to them and situations where they can generate the most impact. 

Goal: Help attendees start identifying their authentic leadership brands.

Week 3 The Success Mindset

Before one can convince others of their value, they have to first convince themselves. Attendees gain mental frameworks and neuroscience hacks to face down fear and rejection. They also learn how habits of personal storytelling and self-affirmations can help them be kinder to themselves and more resilient in their work journeys. 

Goal: Learn the mindset to overcome any adversity and build dream careers.

Week 4 Feelings & Leadership

Using the latest research, attendees are introduced to the science of emotional intelligence and learn how strong feelings can affect their judgment. Drawing on real-world examples, they also learn how to harness their emotions to be more motivated and resilient. Finally, they learn an easy to use framework for diagnosing and dismantling everyday stress. 

Goal: Learn insights on increasing emotional awareness and battling stress.

Week 5 The Zen of the Task Panda

Attendees study the stages and signs of burnout, and see how it impacts their productivity. Next, they learn the dangers of multitasking and how to effectively prioritize during busy work days. Finally, they learn the framework to help them craft high impact goals, stay focused on their progress and drive the most value to their business.  

Goal: Learn how to lower burnout, prioritize ruthlessly and execute flawlessly.

Week 6 The Art of Authentic Communication

To become more effective at conflict resolution, leaders obtain the framework for empathetic conversations. They learn how to not take criticism personally, build immediate trust in any situation, identify the root cause of the problem and problem-solve the issue in partnership with their antagonists.

Goal: Learn how to build rapport and connection with remote coworkers and clients.

Week 7 Intrapreneur to the Top  

This workshop teaches attendees how to help raise their profile by generating massive value for their business. By analyzing case studies of the most impactful, innovative projects and new revenue ideas, they learn the principles at the heart of successfully launching and executing these intrapreneurial initiatives. 

Goal: Learn how to ideate & vet the most profitable new initiatives.

Week 8 The Engine of Team Culture

The last workshop draws on the literature of team dynamics, as it explores the 4 stages of a strong culture. In each level , participants witness the most common dysfunctional behaviors, its impact if left unattended and learn solutions on how to overcome them. They also get to apply the insights by problem-solving their own team challenges. 

Goal: Learn how to forge a strong team culture.

Week 9 The Final Goal Presentation

In this final 2 hour session, each attendee does a short final presentation on their 8 week professional goal to their entire class and their ERG leaders. They share why they chose their goal and how they constructed it. In addition to sharing the final results, they also share their biggest highlights and most powerful insights in this self-motivated journey. 

Goal: Help leaders culminate their leadership training journey in a personal way

Workshop Format

To increase engagement, social connection and learning outcomes, each 90 minute workshop includes:

Post-Workshop

Peer Discussion Groups (45 min/ week)
Each week, attendees will meet their classmates from their company to discuss workshop related topics, share the status of their 8 week challenge and help motivate/hold each other accountable to success.

Individual Assignment (15 min/ week)
To incentives healthy competition and engagement, each leader will be awarded points in a transparent grading rubric based on participation, effort and peer reviews.

The 8 Week Challenge
To apply what they’re learning, every attendee has to personally pick a challenging & exciting professional development goal to complete over the 8 weeks of the program.
